What happens on the day

1. Meet at the car. At the start of your slot we look at the scratch with you and confirm the agreed price. You can head straight back inside.
2. Mask and prepare. The surrounding paint is cleaned and masked, then the scratch is flatted and filled so the surface sits level.
3. Colour. We spray paint mixed from your code and blend it outwards, so a panel that has faded in the sun doesn't show a hard edge.
4. Lacquer and cure. Clear coat goes on and is dried under infrared lamps, then polished in.
5. Handover. We fetch you for a look, run through aftercare and the car is ready for your drive home.

Scratches that come with other damage

A scratch with a dent beneath it is priced as dent repair with paintwork. If the scuffing sits on the plastic below the lights, it's a bumper scuff repair instead, and marks running across several panels after a tight squeeze are handled as wider car body repairs.
