What a repair visit looks like in each area

Wherever the car is, we need it off the public road, with room round it, a space for the van and a power socket close by. Here's how that tends to play out.

Bury town centre, Chesham, Fishpool and Limefield

Lots of people work in and around the centre, near the market, The Rock and the Millgate. Public pay-and-display and shopping centre car parks belong to someone else, so we can't work in them without the owner's say-so, but a private staff car park usually works well. The terraced streets around the centre often mean no drive at home, so a workplace repair is the easy option for scratched doors and scuffed corners.

Pilsworth and Unsworth

Just off the M66, the Pilsworth industrial estate and nearby business parks have big staff car parks. With the site manager's permission, we can repair your car during your shift. Car park door dents are a common job here.

Radcliffe and Ringley

Radcliffe has plenty of homes with drives as well as tighter terraced rows near the centre. Down by the Irwell at Ringley, most properties have space off the road. If your wheel has met a kerb, painted alloy repairs are easy to fit in here.

Whitefield and Prestwich

Along Bury New Road and close to junction 17 of the M60, many people drive to work and are out all day. A repair on the drive while you're away, with the keys handed over in the morning, or one in your work car park, keeps things simple.

Tottington, Walshaw, Brandlesholme, Elton and Ainsworth

The estates north-west of the town centre mostly have drives, so a home visit is straightforward. Bumper scuffs from tight driveways and gateposts are something we see a lot of.

Ramsbottom and Summerseat

Near the northern end of the M66, Ramsbottom mixes steep terraced streets with newer estates. Tell us the parking you have and we'll help pick a spot that works, whether that's your drive or your workplace.

Repairs we offer in every area

Scratch and paint repair: keyed doors, scraped wings and chipped edges, sprayed to your code.

Bumper scuff repair: the plastic corners that meet posts, walls and kerbs.

Dent removal: dings from doors and trolleys, assessed from pictures before booking.

Alloy wheel repair: scuffed rims on painted alloys, usually done on the car.

Mobile bodywork: surface damage spread across doors, sills, wings and mirrors.

Coverage questions

Can you work in a public car park in town?

Usually not. Pay-and-display and shopping centre car parks are owned by someone else and we need the owner's permission to work there. A private staff car park, your drive or a relative's drive is normally the answer.

Do you come out to industrial estates and business parks?

Yes, as long as the car is off the road and the site is happy for us to be there. Plenty of our weekday visits happen this way.

My village isn't on the list. Can you still come?

Possibly. Send your postcode with your photos and we'll let you know before you go any further.

Our house fronts straight onto the pavement. Any options?

We can't work on the road itself, but your workplace, a private car park or a family member's drive usually solves it. List the options in your quote request. Our FAQs cover the rest of the booking process, and our payment options explain PayPal and Klarna.

PHOTO CHECKLIST

Three quick shots
save a lot of back and forth.

  • The whole side

Stand a few paces away so the full panel and a wheel are in frame. That shows us exactly where the damage is.

  • A sharp close-up

Move in until the mark fills most of the screen, then tap to focus. Dents show up best if you also crouch low and aim down the side.

  • Even daylight

Overcast and dry is ideal. Bright sun, rain drops and flash at night all hide the edges we need to see.

Several bits of damage?

Put them all in one request and label each photo with the panel it shows, so one visit can cover the lot.
