MOBILE SMART REPAIRSBURY GET A QUOTE

Mobile car repair FAQs for Bury.

Straight answers on what we fix, how pricing works, what a weekday repair visit looks like and how our warranty applies.

What we fix

Which repairs do you carry out?

Scratches and chipped paint, scraped plastic bumpers, shallow dents and door dings and kerb damage on painted alloys. One look at your photos tells us whether it's a job for the van.

What's off the table?

We won't take on rust, corrosion, structural or heavy crash damage, diamond-cut rims, cracked or buckled wheels, or wheel recolouring. When a bodyshop is the right answer, we say so. More on our mobile bodywork page.

Where does the S.M.A.R.T name come from?

Small to Medium Area Repair Technology. Only the damaged section of a panel is prepared and refinished, which takes less time than painting the whole part.

How close will the colour be?

Paint is mixed to your car's code and graded out into the original finish. A panel that has been resprayed before, or a special-effect finish, is worth mentioning up front.

Can you repair a lease or company car?

Yes, as long as whoever is responsible for the car is happy for the work to go ahead. If it's a lease return, check what the leasing company will accept first.

Pricing and booking

How do I get a price?

Pop your name, number, car, postcode and a photo of each damaged area into our online quote form. We check it suits a mobile repair and send back a fixed figure.

Couldn't I just describe the dent to you on a call?

Size, depth and position all change the work involved, and a description can't show those. A couple of photos can.

I have several marks. Do I need separate quotes?

No. Put them all in one request, say which photo shows which panel, and you'll get one figure for the lot.

When do I pay, and can I use PayPal or Klarna?

Once you've accepted the quote, you can pay through PayPal or Klarna if the provider approves you. See how our payment options work.

Your repair day

Which days and times can you come?

We work Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm and book visits as morning or afternoon slots. Requests sent in the evening or at weekends are answered on the next working day.

Can you repair my car in my work car park?

Usually, if the car is off the road and the site owner or your employer says yes. Check your district on our areas we cover page.

What do you need at the location?

Room to walk all the way round the car, a space for our van alongside and a power socket within reach. Cars parked on a public road are off limits for us.

Can I leave you to it?

Yes. Hand over the keys at the start, come back to check the finish at the end, and carry on with your day in between.

What happens if it rains?

Rain and cold both stop paint curing properly. When the forecast looks wrong for painting, we'll be in touch to pick another weekday.

Can I move my appointment?

Yes. Give us as much notice as possible and we'll offer you the next free slot.

Warranty and cover

Are you insured?

Yes, the mobile work we do on driveways and in car parks is insured. Find out who we are.

What warranty do I get?

Bodywork and paint: the Lifetime Ownership Warranty, running until you sell the car. Painted alloy wheels: twelve months. Neither covers rust, corrosion or faults caused by earlier work or materials from someone else. Our terms and conditions spell out the small print.

PHOTO CHECKLIST

Three quick shots
save a lot of back and forth.

  • The whole side

Stand a few paces away so the full panel and a wheel are in frame. That shows us exactly where the damage is.

  • A sharp close-up

Move in until the mark fills most of the screen, then tap to focus. Dents show up best if you also crouch low and aim down the side.

  • Even daylight

Overcast and dry is ideal. Bright sun, rain drops and flash at night all hide the edges we need to see.

Several bits of damage?

Put them all in one request and label each photo with the panel it shows, so one visit can cover the lot.
